Caring Homes opts for OpenAccounts

Care group installs new finance and web-based purchase order system

Written by Nicholas Neveling

One of the UK's largest privately-owned care groups, Caring Homes, has called in COA Solutions to implement a new finance system and web-based purchase order system.

The finance system, OpenAccounts, will replace three separate finance systems currently used by Caring Homes.

The purchase order system will replace the company's current paper-based processes.

The new technology will offer Caring Homes a single, holistic view of its finances.

'We currently have over 100 privately-owned care homes and services throughout England and Scotland and have significant growth in the pipeline. We recognised the need for a single, flexible finance system that's able to grow with the company and that is well-suited to our business needs,' Ian White, Caring Homes' financial director said.

The new systems go live in the summer.
