E&Y strengthens forensic team...thanks to KPMG

All three senior leaders poached from KPMG

Written by AccountancyAge.com

Paul Walker, Sanjay Bhandari, and Nicolas Mallison, all previously at KPMG, have been poached to join Ernst & Young's forensic technology team.

The three will be responsible for strengthening the firm’s e-disclosure, technology investigation and forensic data intelligence services, which include supporting complex cross-border litigation proceedings and regulatory reviews, in addition to offering sophisticated data driven fraud detection solutions.

They will be led by Walker, partner and head of Forensic Technology & Discovery Services for Northern Europe, Middle East, India and Africa, who has been tasked with growing the UK practice by 100% over the next 12 months and putting the firm at the forefront of the market.

Commenting on the appointments, John Smart, head of fraud investigation & dispute services (FIDS) at Ernst & Young, said, 'Attracting 3 of the UK’s leading practitioners in forensic technology is a great success for Ernst & Young.'
