That's entertainment

corporateentertainment

I have just come out of an internal meeting - very high profile, serious, executive-level discussions (ahem).

Somehow we managed to steer the conversation onto entertainers and who we would like to see more of at industry events - and maybe at CRN events. (budget allowing obviously)

Personally I have a huge thing for entertainers of the past such as Cannon and Ball and Paul Daniels for example. But don't let me stop there - I'm sure there are plenty of acts from the 80s that would make a great evening out.

I also went to an event a couple of years ago which had Jimmy Greaves. He was superb.

But the expression on some of my colleagues' faces were like they had stepped into something nasty. I think they might take some convincing despite the fact that I was practically bouncing round the room with excitement.

Some of them felt we should focus more on the 'up and coming' greats of the future.

So I have been tasked with asking the industry what kind of entertainment would get you buzzing?

I'm dying to know!

Are you fans of retro entertainers, or hungry for young blood?

All suggestions welcome.

Views - both channel related and everyday life observations - from CRN Editor Sara Yirrell. If you have any gossip that you would like to share with me please do get in touch and also we would love to see your comments at the end of the blog.
