New Dave, New Danger

Aloha from Dagenham: via satellite! (Or maybe it's just the worldwide internet – I'm never quite sure how these things work...)

So, this is the new ChannelWeb. S'alright, innit?

I'm still a little sore that promises about putting my blog front and centre have not been kept. But, rest assured loyal reader(s), I'm still here, having negotiated a bumper two-figure deal with the chaps at CRN to keep hold of exclusive rights to my scribblings.

So you can expect more of the same guff about the strange and seedy underbelly of the channel. Or, more likely, deeply frivolous stories about singing robots, men who marry microwaves and criminals blogging about bank robberies. That's technology, baby.

My ongoing quest to squeeze in as many references as possible to old-school hip hop, mid-90s sitcoms, lower league football and other such things (without attracting the attention of the eagle-eyed editors on CRN) will also continue. I hereby promise a signed photograph to anyone who spots a subtle nod to one of my hobbies.

Observant readers may also have noticed I can now include  pictures - like this one, of a kitten. I guarantee more snaps of cute animals, natural wonders and celebrities in compromising situations if you keep reading.

And, as ever, all correspondence is very gratefully received. Comments, observations, criticisms, suggestions and thinly veiled threats to the usual address, please.
