Jones: Simms is a valuable addition to our growing supplier community

German buying group Synaxon has unveiled memory and IT accessories distributor Simms International as its newest partner.

The partnership gives Synaxon’s membership base access to the distributor’s full range through Synaxon’s Enterprise Global Information System (EGIS) online system, including its full line up of notebook accessories and bags from Dicota.

In addition, resellers can source Kingston Technology memory, Flash and USB products from Simms through EGIS.

By using EGIS to place orders for memory solutions from Simms, resellers receive additional benefits, including lower cost delivery services and access to special offers and exclusive promotions.

Derek Jones, managing director of Synaxon UK, said the firm is delighted to welcome Simms International as a partner.

“Simms is a valuable addition to our growing supplier community. That community is now very strong indeed and with the range of benefits that we are providing, Synaxon now has a highly attractive proposition for all resellers, systems builders and retailers operating in the UK market,” he said.

Simms joins a growing list of distributors to sign with Synaxon. Ingram signed with the firm last month following a string of partnerships made last year, including Westcoast, Enta and storage player CMS Peripherals.

Phil Pace, sales and marketing director at Simms International, said: “Our partnership with Synaxon will deliver even more benefits to our partners and ensure that we can continue to help them meet the needs of their end user customers.”
