Ireland-based Midwich subsidiary Square One is to sell projector lamps from UK sister company Whichlamps across Ireland.
A statement released by Midwich said that recently-acquired Square One would represent Whichlamps' range of lamps from 15 brands including Sanyo, InFocus and BenQ.
Garnett Stewart, general manager at Square One, said the Irish company will only sell original lamps.

"Our customers need not worry about the warranty and safety issues associated with compatible and copy lamps. With the backing of Whichlamps, we will be in a position to lead the Irish market on price, stock and service," Stewart said.
“Any lamp that is not original could invalidate a projector warranty.”
Square One will hold stock of original replacement lamps itself to reduce lead and delivery times.
Midwich, which bought Square One in August, plans to use the firm to strengthen its business across Ireland. Square One, based in Bray outside Dublin, reported sales of €2.7m (£2.5m) in the 2008/09 year. Current brands include Panasonic, Hitachi, Samsung and Dynalite.
