On the up: Intrinsic is determined to grow its managed services portfolio

VAR Intrinsic Technology has unveiled its new Fusion managed services portfolio as it looks to grow its business.

Fusion is comprised of four modules: performance management, problem and incident management, change management and infrastructure management.

The aim of the portfolio is to give its customers access to network technologies and management expertise without requiring high initial capital investment and to save on technology update expenses.

Gregg Spooner, who heads up Intrinsic’s managed services division, has ambitious plans to grow the business over the coming months.

“This is a major initiative for our company as we look to grow our business and capabilities,” he said. “We have always offered maintenance and monitoring managed services, but with Fusion, we are delivering the end-to-end management of our clients’ multi-vendor, multi-technology IT infrastructures.

“In today’s environment, our clients have to find ways to do more with less money and resources. Our Fusion portfolio will enable clients to turn to us to augment their staff and provide day-to-day operational support for their converged environments for a fixed monthly cost.”

Mike Mason, managing director of Intrinsic, said: “Fusion is a direct response to the requirements of our clients as we seek to leverage greater value in their technology investment while lowering capital and operational expenditure.

“Our managed services portfolio ultimately deepens an organisation’s understanding of IT performance, delivering a high return on investment through improved customer service, optimised IT infrastructure and increased user and staff productivity.”
