Equanet has become one of just 22 Strategic Suppliers for outsourcing giant Capita in what it is labelling a ‘significant agreement’.
The corporate reseller, which is part of DSGi Business, will provide a range of project-based services to Capita as part of the framework. This includes lifecycle desktop services, remote IT management, maintenance and support.
Jerry Roest, managing director of Equanet, stated: “This is a very significant agreement for Equanet. Capita is a leading player in the outsourcing market and chooses its suppliers very carefully.
“As one of only 22 Strategic Suppliers, Equanet has demonstrated the ability to carry out a wide range of IT services with a focus on quality and price. While this agreement builds on our close working relationship with Capita going back several years, it also shows how a long-term partnership can work successfully.”
David Murphy, Capita Group procurement director, said: “This agreement further strengthens our relationship with Equanet and DSGI. The framework, awarded under the Capita Strategic Supplier Programme, will enable Equanet to provide a range of services and solutions focused on delivering enhanced value to our businesses.”
