Cabling infrastructure and physical security solutions distributor
Mayflex
has assigned an industry veteran to oversee the sales of its
Extreme
Networks product range.
Newly appointed Steve Kirby will take on the role of vendor manager to develop
the sales strategy for its Extreme Networks business.
Kirby aims to secure the existing business in this area and work on building new relationships within the reseller community, in addition to developing a new Mayflex Assist service.
Kenny Presly, sales director at Mayflex, said: “Steve is a great addition to our existing networking team. The Extreme Networks product range plays an important part in our networking portfolio.

Kirby joins the distributor with more than 15 years of experience in the data networking and managed services industry. Prior to Mayflex he held roles at a networking integrator and several channel-based companies.
Presly added: “Steve is currently undergoing an intensive induction course and will be gradually meeting with existing customers over the next couple of weeks.”
