Having appointed a partner manager for Ireland, ambitious wireless distributor 802 Global is moving swiftly to realise its expansion plans following a £1m investment last month.
Gavin Duffy, who will be based in Dublin, joins 802 Global from communications technology firm Electronic Product Services, where he held the post of global sales manager. He has more than a decade's experience in the technology industry and has been tasked with helping IT VARs build their wireless and IP CCTV skills.

Managing director Tim Close claimed last month that he wanted to invest some of that money on bolstering headcount and establishing an Irish presence.
