Comms distributors Nimans and Rocom have announced a board reshuffle which sees founder Julian Niman take on a dual role as chief executive Paula Gillings departs.
Nimans bought rival Rocom for £12.5m last summer and has now unveiled a new-look board which it hopes will drive business across both brands. David Bennett will serve as financial director, John Cunningham as operations director, Andy Winfield as purchasing director and Phil Gee as company secretary.
James Perkins, who joined Nimans last month, is the distributor's sales director. Perkins arrived from outsourcing specialist Qcom and also spent 12 years at broadliner Ingram Micro, where he rose to the role of sales director.
