Broadliner Ingram Micro has extended its growing distribution partnership with Cisco to cover Ireland.
The distributor, which recently expanded its Cisco relationship into the Danish and Belgian territories, has already started sales and marketing activities in Ireland, including breakfast briefings and SME accreditation boot camps.
Julian Klein, managing director for Ingram Micro UK, said: “This partnership in the UK has been such a success largely because of our focus on the enablement of resellers, the dedicated support teams we put in place and the detailed sales and marketing plans we develop.”
Tom O’Reilly, channel manager for the Cisco Distribution Business in Ireland said: “SME represents a significant growth market for Cisco Ireland, and this enhanced relationship with Ingram Micro locally will be a key enabler in driving sales in this market segment.”
“Ingram Micro has demonstrated a great ability in driving reseller activity with the Cisco SME platform and it is looking forward to Ingram Micro utilising this ability in the Irish market and increasing the coverage across the island of Ireland,” he added.
