Pyramids: VARs could win a trip to see one of the Seven Wonders of the World

Ingram Micro is beginning its Windows 7 push with the launch of its first marketing campaign around the new operating system.

Labelled the "Wonders of Windows 7", the campaign includes a reseller incentive that will see the winner go on a holiday of a lifetime to one of the seven wonders of the world.

Set to run until 22 October, the reseller campaign will run alongside an end-user demand generation campaign, with selected resellers and retail outlets also taking part.

Full details of both campaigns are yet to be released.

Mario Festa, Microsoft partner account manager at Ingram, said: “I’m really excited by Ingram Micro’s Wonders of Windows 7 campaign. It is creative and refreshing, but as importantly, it builds on the continually growing excitement around the much-anticipated Windows platform release.

“This campaign will generate a real buzz in the channel, plus enable resellers to exploit the opportunities that Windows 7 presents. We are confident it will educate resellers and also drive results through Ingram’s reseller base.”
