Audiovisual specialist Sahara Presentation Systems has signed up as the UK distributor for Samsung projectors.
Kevin Batley, managing director at Sahara, said the agreement would drive sales in education and business markets across the UK.
“Samsung’s projector range provides our resellers with key products for the education market and is an excellent fit with our existing projector vendors, Hitachi and Sanyo,” said Batley.

Dominic Webb, general manager for the digital display division at Samsung, said the partnership has broadened Samsung’s reseller reach.
“Particularly education, a target sector in the UK market for Samsung, in preparation for the launch of a number of new projector models during 2010,” said Webb.
Sahara will supply Samsung’s full range of projectors for education and business applications, up to 4000 ANSI lumens from mid-April.
It also distributes AV kit from brands such as Hitachi, Sanyo, Lumens, Mimio, Loxit and Leba, alongside its own interactive whiteboards and pads, interactive LCDs, projectors, audience response systems and installation accessories.
