Document automation vendor ReadSoft has appointed Microsoft SharePoint provider ImageFast as a channel partner.
The vendor announced earlier this year that it wants its channel business to account for 80 per cent of the overall revenue by 2012.
Simon Shorthose, managing director of ReadSoft, said ImageFast’s appointment was a key part of its growth strategy.
“Partners are very important to our business model,” he said. “Adding ImageFast as a valued channel partner is key to our strategy and will help us reach our goal of growing our channel business to 80 per cent by 2012.”
ImageFast said it would use ReadSoft’s technology to enhance the document management capabilities of SharePoint. The firm intends to target end users in the finance, insurance and manufacturing verticals.
Darren Edwards, managing director at ImageFast, said: “We found [ReadSoft's] products easy to use, functional, and most importantly straightforward to set up and integrate with SharePoint.”
Shorthose added: “The fact that ReadSoft’s solution can be integrated with SharePoint means we can utilise customers’ existing systems, minimising the need for users to relearn a whole new system.”
