Richard Blanford, managing director of Fordway, said: “We are delighted that Jenny has decided to join us.
“She has the credentials and drive to be an integral part of our new business efforts during a very exciting time for us.”
The appointment follows Fordway’s launch of a new managed and hosted infrastructure service, designed to reduce costs by up to 25 per cent.
Stewart added: “IT departments need to maximise intelligence and minimise maintenance.
“The new offering, which combines technologies from companies such as VMware, Compellent, Commvault, Riverbed, Citrix and Microsoft, enables organisations to improve business efficiency, reduce IT infrastructure costs, lower the risk of a business outage and maximise return on investment.”
Stewart is the second appointment in the last few months. Barry O’Keefe, previously at 2e2, joined Fordway last year as new business sales manager for the Midlands.
