Ritchie Fiddes, sales director for Backup Technology, said: “There is good growth in the online backup market and Backup Technology wanted to extend its reach through enhancing its partner programme.”
Backup Technology draws just 30 per cent of its revenues from indirect sales,
a figure it is keen to boost.
“A wider range of VARs can partner with us and the web portal offers extras such
as lead registration and support,” added Fiddes.
Donald McKay, system care manager at financial software reseller TSG, said:
“TSG went live with Backup Technology in February, and we are happy that there
is always someone to answer any questions.”
McKay said Backup Technology visited all of TSG’s 22 offices to provide training
days.
