Midwich has added a new product category – Fellowes office products and business machines – to its stable.

Alistair Coyne, product manager at Midwich, claimed Fellowes was a strong office products brand, particularly for shredders.

“This is an entirely new product category for Midwich and we hope it will strengthen our position in the office equipment channel,” Coyne said.

James Webb, UK sales and marketing director at Fellowes, said the range available through the new distribution deal included shredders, binding, laminating and office products.

“We look forward to working with them to drive growth for both companies,” Webb said.

US-based Fellowes offers shredders, binders and laminators, desktop accessories and records storage. The vendor has subsidiaries in Canada, Benelux, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Russia, Spain, the UK, China, Singapore, Japan, Korea and Australia.

It employs some 2,700 people globally. Sales have been tipped to exceed $700m (£439m) this year.
