VAR Calyx claims its new-look senior management team is complete after appointing David Hargaden as its chief financial officer.
The Dublin-based reseller changed ownership in October when founder Maurice Healy bought Alchemy Partners’ majority stake.
Healy took the role of executive chairman while Tara Brady was elevated to the chief executive post.

Hargaden joins from BDO Simpson Xavier, where he was a partner and head of corporate finance. He also founded property portal Myhome.ie.
Calyx has also made two senior group appointments based in the UK, both of whom hail from an IT services background.
Former Getronics man John Hawker succeeds Brady as group chief operating officer, while ex-Getronics and Logica luminary Gaurav Bhasker has been appointed as group services director.
Healy said: “This appointment and the strengthening of the senior executive team at group level demonstrates loud and clear that Calyx is positioning itself to take full advantage of industry trends towards managed services and of the significant consolidation opportunities that will undoubtedly arise when the current downturn subsides.”
