Hammer has grabbed a European distribution deal with hard disk drive vendor Hitachi Global Storage Technologies (Hitachi GST).
The deal with give Hammer’s customers access to Hitachi’s full range of Ultrastar hard drives – ranging from 15K and 10K RPM SAS and Fibre Channel hard drives, to the enterprise-class 2TB 7200 RPM SATA hard drive.
Nick Powling, disk business development manager at Hammer, said: “Hammer is continually looking for ways to enhance our product offerings, and add more value and storage options for customers. Adding Hitachi’s enterprise drives to the Hammer range gives our customers full access to a proven family of drives for greater flexibility when designing or upgrading their enterprise storage environments.”
