GlassHouse's service operation centre in North Carolina is for clients worldwide

IT infrastructure consultancy GlassHouse Technologies is uniting its managed service department and customer support services (CSS) team under one roof.

Based in Cary, North Carolina, the facility will now serve as the primary service operations centre to better serve its clients worldwide.

The addition of the managed services staff at the centre brings together the two support departments – GlassHouse Managed Services was formerly housed in Mumbai.

Brian Ritchie, senior vice president at GlassHouse Technologies, said: “We are happy to provide additional opportunities in the US by bringing our managed services staff to the Research Triangle Park region.

“Our knowledgeable staff has worked tirelessly to support the needs of our clients by providing quality support services that align with the specific goals and business initiatives of each client.”

GlassHouse launched its CCS offering in 2004. Its pay-as-you-go model allows clients to use the modular services they need without excessive upfront costs.

GlassHouse’s managed services support clients with multiple technologies including primary storage and replication, disk backup, SAN management, tape virtualisation and de-duplication, database, security and virtualised server technologies.

Through the centre, global clients can choose a range of offerings including cloud-based reporting and monitoring services or select to have GlassHouse monitor and manage their entire storage, backup, virtualisation, database and security infrastructure.

GlassHouse's EMEA headquarters are based in Surrey.
