Sunderland based Micro-Image Document Systems (MIDS) has merged with North Shields document scanning and data archiving services provider Datatron.
Mike Sadler, sales director at Datatron, said combining the skills of both companies should improve their business process automation capabilities.
“Buyers are increasingly seeking reputable companies with a proven track record to provide data storage and retrieval,” Sadler said.

MIDS, an Avanquest partner, recently sold an e-archiving offering to Nissan in Sunderland.
