Kelway will start looking for Alan Thompson's replacement immediately

Kelway's sales director Alan Thompson is set to leave the integrator at the end of March to set up his own homeless charity.

Thompson was in charge of the historic Kelway/Panacea business, and another sales director is in charge of the Repton team, which Kelway acquired last May.

In a statement Phil Doye, chief executive of Kelway, said: "We are sad to see Alan go as he has been a great contributor to the success of the business. We wish him all the best in his new charitable venture with the homeless."

CRN understands that Kelway, which communicated Thompson's departure to staff yesterday, will immediately start the hunt for a new group sales director.
