Novell has finally appointed a new channel manager, almost four months after the prevrious channel executive, Julie McKenzie resigned.
John Bainbridge has now been appointed as Novell’s director of partner sales for the western region. He will report to Chris Papayanni, general manager for the western region, who has been doing the role in the interim.
Bainbridge, who was previously responsible for business development at Intel, will now manage Novell’s Territory Partner Sales Team and sales support.
Novell said Bainbridge’s focus will be maintaining the existing Novell sales base, while generating revenue with new customers and increasing market share. He will be responsible for the expansion of partner revenues in new business areas, and providing support to partner sales managers in the installed base.
