HP aims to get closer to its smaller partners with a tailored rewards initiative.
Starting on 1 April, HP Rewards will offer VARs cash bonuses based on their HP spend. Gold and Preferred partners are not included in the scheme.
Paul Hunter, category director, Personal Systems Group (PSG) at HP, said: “We still put a lot of time into our Gold and higher-level partners, but it is often harder to build a relationship with smaller players, which is where this initiative will help.”

Hunter said the scheme will first be rolled out across PSG and parts of HP’s server arm.
