Distributor Zycko has expanded its vendor portfolio with the extension of its QLogic contract and the creation of a distribution deal with data protection vendor Diligent Technologies.
Zycko has worked directly with QLogic for about six months. It will now also distribute the vendor’s SANBox 6000 and 8000 products to VARs across EMEA.
Nigel Lambert, channel director at Zycko, said: “Transitioning to work directly with QLogic proved straightforward. We’re pleased to continue facilitating the deployment of intelligent storage applications in a Fibre Channel fabric to our end-users.”
In addition, Zycko has also secured an agreement with Diligent Technologies to distribute the vendor’s data de-duplication technology, together with its data protection software for Open System environments.
Doron Kempel, chairman of Diligent Technologies, said in a statement: “Our partnership with Zycko is an important addition to our ever-increasing channel partner network across Europe. We selected Zycko because of its breadth of experience.”
David Galton-Fenzi, group sales director at Zycko, said: “This will allow us to focus on the huge opportunity in the virtual-tape-library market, which exists in the current installed tape storage base.”
