Bullish UK reseller Fabric Technologies is setting up a Swiss operation to target financial services opportunities in the country.
Cisco Premier partner Fabric specialises in implementing SIP-based trading turrets from vendor IP Trade. Last year its turnover rose from £5.3m to £7.2m.
The London-based VAR already claims to have more than 150 clients in the financial services sector, including hedge funds, market makers, algorithmic traders and investment banks.

Now it is aiming to replicate that success in the financial services-dominated Swiss market.
The plan is to establish technical and engineering resource to support customers in all the major Swiss financial locations including Zurich, Geneva, Lausanne, Basel, and Zug.
Chief executive Misha Gopaul, said: “We see the opening of our Swiss operation as the next logical step for us.
“As well as creating the opportunity for us to bring our advanced financial technology to new customers in the region, it will also allow us to better support the growing number of our existing customers establishing or expanding operations in the region.”
