Security distributor Computerlinks has been officially accredited as Check Point's largest global training partner.
The accolade follows rocketing training revenue at the distributor, with a spike in demand for training pushing related Check Point training turnover up by 36 per cent.
Katie Lyon, product manager training services at Computerlinks, said: " Security remains a top IT priority for UK businesses as they face increasing pressure to protect their IT infrastructure and data. As a result, there are significant opportunities for skilled security resellers that are able to take a holistic approach to security, which is why Check Point's solutions are compelling. With our experience in e-security, our technical expertise in Check Point's solutions and our position as an accredited training provider with the Institute of IT Training, we are able to help resellers gain the very best security skills and knowledge."
Amy Hughey, education services manager at Check Point said: "Computerlinks has shown consistently strong growth over the past few years and its position today is a reflection of its commitment to providing quality training and great customer service."

Having been on training with them I certainly wouldn't rate them that highly - training location isn't exactly central. Colleagues have advised me that there are more superior training companies (QA-IQ) offering Check Point training in London who I would certainly look to use in the future!
