Dell has expanded its Certified Partner stable with the addition of security specialist Nviron.
As a Certified-level partner under Dell’s PartnerDirect programme, Nviron will now have access to the technology, training and best practices of all Dell Enterprise areas, and will be able to take advantage of enhanced support, training and development activities from the vendor.
Stuart Rae, managing director of Nviron, said: “We felt very positive about joining PartnerDirect. As a very active EqualLogic partner at the time when Dell acquired it, there were some concerns for the future, but we were very impressed with the vision for channel partners that Dell subsequently laid out.

“We had previously offered our customers HP technology, but the level of support and joint engagement Dell offered was excellent, so we decided to focus on Dell exclusively. We have particular expertise in virtualisation, and Dell’s offering in this area is particularly strong, both from a technology platform perspective and the support and training provided. Our business grew 36 per cent in 2008 and the vast majority of this growth was triggered by joining PartnerDirect.”
