Synaxon's UK member numbers have swelled over the past month by 15 Apple Mac specialist joining its ranks.
The group has recruited more than 40 new members since May, with the total number of UK members now exceeding 530.
Gary Sargent, operations manager at Synaxon, said: “We are delighted to be welcoming so many prominent members of the Mac reseller community to Synaxon and we hope that many more will follow.

“They will soon see the benefits of being an active member. The Synaxon model is designed to deliver benefits to all types of reseller, whether they are specialists or mainstream providers of IT and services to businesses or consumers, and as our membership and our supplier partner base grows, the benefits are multiplying.”
Now with more than 50 vendor and distributor partners, Synaxon is on the hunt for at least one Apple specialist distributor.
“We are eager to extend the choice we can offer Mac resellers and include a good selection of specialist and Mac-compatible products in our iTrends bi-monthly mailer,” added Sargent.
The increasing interest from the Mac community follows last month’s formation of the Technology Channel Association (TCA) trade body through the merger of the Mac Technology Association with the Professional Computing Association. Synaxon is a sponsor for the TCA, encouraging its members to adhere to its industry code of practice.
Robert Peckham, director of the TCA, said: “The Synaxon concept is excellent and they should be applauded and encouraged for their efforts to help resellers drive their business development. We would advise all our Apple Mac dealer members to seriously consider becoming members.”
Paul Rhodes, director of Hi-Tech Bradford, a new member of Synaxon said: “We have joined Synaxon because we have heard about the benefits it is delivering to other resellers and we want to be a part of that.
“Synaxon has an excellent base of supplier partners and with the EGIS system, the regular iTrends mailer and the exclusive promotions and other benefits it brings, deciding whether or not to become a member did not take us long.”
The EGIS Mobile module gives members access to an instant Google price checker to show them competitors offering similar products. They also have access to marketing templates populated with C-Net data.
