Former LeftHand Networks EMEA chief Doug Rich is back in the channel with the Neverfail Group and has ambitious plans for the vendor’s UK channel.
Rich departed LeftHand about a year ago and formed reseller VirtualUnity before becoming Neverfail’s vice president of EMEA sales.
He has created a formalised channel scheme, incorporating Referral partners and Gold and Platinum VARs.

He claimed about 15 UK and Ireland partners would give the disaster recovery specialist good market coverage. The scheme will operate a one-tier model and Rich claimed resellers will benefit from deal registration, lead generation, marketing funds and “healthy margins”.
“Neverfail has a great pedigree and nearly 2,000 customers worldwide. We have broadened the product range and it is an enterprise solution. We are looking for dedicated partners to sell the entire range.”
Jon Collins, managing director of market-watcher Freeform Dynamics, claimed many enterprises’ disaster recovery plans were two years out of date.
“It can be hard to identify what is the most important system,” he said. “Many companies start by trying to resolve all the issues and are trying to fill the ocean.”
