Cisco and NetApp IT training provider Fast Lane UK offered discounts to students that attended the Cisco Talent Connection event at Birmingham City University last week.

Fast Lane UK offered students a 35 per cent discount, the equivalent of £400 fee reduction, for the new Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Concentrator courses.

More than 400 students attended the event at The Technology Innovation Centre, home to Birmingham City University’s Technology, Innovation and Development faculty.

The event was also attended by Cisco partners, which were recruiting for a number of technical positions. Partners included nscglobal, Touchbase, ABSNet, Voyager Networks, and NextiraOne.

Peter Olive, managing director of Fast Lane UK, said: “Graduates are in high demand throughout the IT industry.

“By supporting events such as the Cisco Talent Connection, we can help graduates gain a technology specialisation that matches their own goals and the needs of the UK IT sector.”

The new Cisco Concentrators CCNA Wireless, CCNA Voice and CCNA Security certifications build on core CCNA skills.
