Stuart Bullard has been appointed as sales consultant at Surrey-based Brookcourt, which specialises in consultancy around emerging security technologies.
“I was at VCW for a year to help set up the [security] business after it merged with Fresh Egg. I’m an end-user person, so it got to the point where I wanted to get back into the end-user world,” Bullard said.
“We sit within IT security teams to help them evaluate new technologies. It is fascinating just how far some end users are from understanding what new technologies can do for them.”
Bullard added that Brookcourt, whose vendor partners include Breach Security and FingerPIN, is working with all but one of the UK’s tier-one banks.
Mike Harris, chairman of VCW, said he was not familiar with Brookcourt and refused to comment further.
