IP telephony vendor ShoreTel has fortified its EMEA channel offering with the addition of a marketing programme and support package for new partners.
The Accelerate initiative aims to provide VARs with access to a vast array of marketing tools. ShoreTel hopes to reduce the time, cost and complexity of building and delivering a marketing campaign.
Chris Limm, sales director at partner Solar Communications, claimed the scheme has already benefited his firm.

"The time taken from drafting a marketing brief to delivering a campaign has been very short, reducing the pressure on our team and making our marketing efforts very flexible and nimble,” he said.
ShoreTel has also unveiled the On-Boarding programme, which is designed to bring recent additions to the partner fold up to speed on products and financing options. Included in the starter kit are implementation and sales training materials, demo products and marketing collateral.
John Howard, the vendor's EMEA managing director, said: “We are constantly looking for ways to help our partners succeed, so we are making every effort to assist the channel with implementation, marketing and sales support as well as traditional technical support."
