The DNS Arrow brand has been consigned to the annals of history after the distributor rebranded at the start of this year.
The UK IBM, HP, Sun and Symantec distributor now goes by the name of its parent, Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions (ECS), following a pan-European rebranding exercise.
The DNS Arrow brand has been a fixture in the UK market since 2007, when Arrow ECS bought UK-based InTechnology's specialist distribution division in 2007.

Laurent Sadoun, president of Arrow ECS’ EMEA operations, hoped the name change would increase awareness of the distributor’s global strength as a Fortune 200 company.
“We are proud of what DNS Arrow has accomplished since the acquisition by Arrow ECS in 2007, and the name change is a natural evolution of DNS Arrow’s integration with Arrow ECS following its acquisition,” he said.
No changes will be made to the organisation’s local leadership or support capabilities, the distributor stressed.
