Dell has unveiled its first UK certified partner after months of anticipation.
Surrey-based Skye Consult has completed the vendor’s Enterprise Architecture certification process. The VAR is now able to sell Dell’s entire product range from desktops through to enterprise storage solutions.
Sam Mager, sales director at Skye Consult, said: “It is a good thing for us and something we can start crowing about to our customers. “Clearly this certification also makes it easier for us to open doors into new clients.”
He added that the certification was not just a “free giveaway badge”, but was one that had to be earned.
“Dell is also giving us great assistance in training our sales teams and taking the Dell message out to market,” he added.
In a conversation with CRN earlier this week, Dell's UK channel director Andy Dow said that the vendor expects to unveil a number of certified partners over the coming weeks.
