Distributor Mayflex has claimed reseller requests led it to make changes to its online Xtra Partner portal.
Users of the facility can now download specification sheets for Mayflex's entire Excel range of networking products. The sheets can be personalised with customers' logos and address details.
Xtra Partner was launched earlier this year and allows partners 24 hour access to pricing and ordering information about their account. VARs can also view information on invoice history and which items are in stock.

Mayflex claimed the option of creating branded literature on specific product ranges had proved popular with partners and the addition of downloadable specification sheets had been called for by VARs. Marketing manager Tracey Calcutt said: “We are continually looking at ways to improve our website on behalf of our customers and regularly ask for feedback and comments on how they feel it could be improved for their benefit.
"We consider all ideas put forward and wherever possible we endeavor to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations. We are very pleased, on this occasion, to be able to fufiil our customers’ requirements by providing them with the full range of product specification sheets from the Excel range.”
