2e2 has become the second UK reseller to gain Cisco’s coveted Master Unified Communications (UC) certification, CRN understands.
Although Cisco Silver partner Touchbase was first past the post last month (CRN, 16 July), 2e2 has won the race to be crowned UC Master among Cisco’s top-level Gold partners.
It is thought 2e2 passed its final audit around two weeks ago and will officially announce the accolade on Monday.
The Master, which represents the highest level of specialisation Cisco partners can obtain on a given Advanced Technology, was unveiled 18 months ago at Cisco’s Las Vegas Partner summit (CRN, 20 March 2006)
Cisco told CRN that four UK resellers have obtained or are close to obtaining UC Master, while two are close to obtaining the Security Master (CRN, 9 August).
