Voice and data integrator Affiniti has won a major datacentre contract with Threadneedle.
Under the terms of the deal, Affiniti will assume control of the asset management firm’s data assets and IT business recovery infrastructure.
Derek Thompson, director of data management solutions at Affiniti, told CRN: “There is a mind shift among our customers. If the financial case and service levels can be guaranteed they are increasingly happy to hand the management of their whole datacentre to us.”
