Sales drive: Hammer hopes Overland storage promotion will help VARs build revenues

Storage distributor Hammer has launched a sales promotion to reward partners every time they sell products from Overland Storage’s Snap Server range.

VARs that take part in Hammer’s Snap Challenge promotion will receive sales training, access to demonstration units and special pricing to help close deals.

The distributor said it will reward VARs with Amazon vouchers in exchange for every Snap Server unit sold.

Jason Beeson, solutions director at Hammer, said the promotion should boost partners' revenues.

“Through the SNAP Challenge, we hope to target specific opportunities to ensure that resellers can successfully meet their customers’ needs, with the added benefits of features and performance appropriate to real environments.

“We believe that this programme will simplify NAS sales for resellers and increase their revenues simultaneously.”
