VAR ANS Group is bullish after turnover rocketed 23 per cent for the year ended 31 March 2007.
The firm saw turnover smash through the £6m barrier for the first time, with pre-tax profits increasing 15.4 per cent to £634,000. It also revealed a cash war chest of £1.69m.
Scott Fletcher, chairman and founder of ANS, said: “We are working to get our Cisco Silver status at the moment, which we expect to complete over the next three to six months, and are also looking for further acquisitions to enhance shareholder value.”
Fletcher added that particular areas of focus for the coming year will include unified communications, virtualisation and managed services.
The VAR is also in the process of floating its Smart Identity subsidiary to fund its ambitious growth plans and has completed the integration of voice over IP specialist Bios. It also acquired a four per cent stake in rival VAR Red Squared last month.
Fletcher added: “ANS remains a business operating at the forefront of its specialist field.”
