F-Secure has launched the Messaging Security Gateway X-Series. The firm has claimed the appliance combines an enterprise-class messaging platform with perimeter security, anti-spam, anti-virus and secure messaging.
CA provides protection
Computer Associates has launched a protection suite for Microsoft’s Windows Server System for mid-sized businesses. The software includes anti-virus, anti-spyware, data backup and restore, and desktop migration technologies.
Fortinet fights viruses
Fortinet has announced that its FortiClient Host Security software has received certification from the International Society for Computers and their Applications for Antivirus Cleaning and Desktop Antivirus Detection. The certification verifies that Fortinet’s client solution will protect host PCs or servers.
Postini defends Perimeter
Postini has launched Perimeter Manager, which it has claimed is an integrated message management system that addresses security, compliance and availability requirements. End-users will be able to establish regulatory and general business policies for archiving.
ScriptLogic writes solution
ScriptLogic has launched Security Explorer 5.0, which manages file permissions and Windows server security. New features include a multi-threaded architecture enhanced migration and search, export, backup and restore capabilities.
