Welcome to the club: Westcoast is Sage's fourth UK distributor

Sage has expanded its UK distribution line-up by adding Westcoast as its fourth partner.

The partnership, which kicks off on 6 September, will see Westcoast supply Sage boxed products to retailers, licenses and support to VARs and Sage branded stationery into the stationery market.

Alex Tatham, sales and marketing director at Westcoast, said: “Our approach to sell Sage differently impressed Sage’s management team. What was different about us was the extent of our customer base and our drive to take all Sage products to market in a different way.”

Westcoast has even recruited a dedicated product manager for its Sage line. Carl Quigley joins the distributor from Microsoft LAR Software Box.

Quigley said: “Westcoast’s sales floor is excited about the opportunity presented by selling the UK’s premier business software product set. We have engaged the whole company in driving product knowledge and the whole Sage solution, including ACT! CRM software and SageCover support.”

Stuart Wilson, UK channel manager at Sage, said: “We gelled with the approach presented by the Westcoast team and are excited about the level of focus that Westcoast are going to give Sage. We have found a perfect match in Westcoast.”
