Fujitsu Siemens Computers (FSC) has set up demonstration corners within seven UK resellers with a retail presence.
Demonstration stands featuring FSC laptops will be installed in seven stores around the country and they will be supported by trained reseller staff. Locations included will be Bennetts Stores in Norwich, Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds and Colchester, Micro Direct in Manchester and CCL in Bradford.
The scheme will be backed by a poster, email and local press marketing campaign. Helen Philips, segment marketing manager for FSC, said: “For FSC this is going to increase our brand awareness and the breadth of our reseller base.
"We are dedicated to providing our channel partners with the best products to sell and in this case, undertaking marketing to increase visitors and footfall to the store. By expanding this base into independent resellers with a retail presence, we are increasing that commitment.”
