Magirus has unveiled its new Service Division in a move to consolidate its service offerings and encourage idea and resource sharing between different country operations.
The Service Division consists of the Magirus Training Academy, the Professional Services and Services Support business unit.
In addition, the distributor has created the new position of general manager of the Services Division to help drive Magirus’s service strategy. Ulrich Hampe has taken on this role.
“Previously, services issues were handled by individual business units, but now are under one single division,” Hampe said.
Magirus is focused on high growth and the new division intends to supply its customers and other operating countries with better support and better practice. I am confident that Magirus can reach this target and in turn help its resellers to be more profitable in their markets,” added Hampe.
