Carrier Gamma Telecom is gearing up for its annual channel roadshow extravaganza next month to plug its new inbound telephony and mobility technology.
Previous roadshows have seen the firm spread business tips to its channel partners, but this year it is focusing on the technology.
Richard Bligh, marketing manager at Gamma, said: “We do a variation of the roadshow every year and always get a good turnout of between 50 and 60 resellers at each show.

“The last two years have been very much around ideas for running a business, but this year it is going to be very much a product sell for our inbound telephony and mobility products.”
The dates and venues covered in the February roadshow, are: 4 February, Ramada Livingston Hotel in Scotland; the Belfry Hallmark Hotel in Manchester on 9 February; the Manor Hotel Meriden in Coventry on 10 February; and finally 11 February at the Kensington Close Hotel in London.
Keith Humphreys, managing consultant at EuroLAN, said it was crucial for vendors to communicate their message properly to business partners.
“Partners need to be educated on how to be able to sell these products, and particularly with a managed service/annuity sell, so they can learn how to reward the sales teams,” he said. “The evangelising play has to be part of a face-to-face event such as this.”
