Distributor Mayflex has bolstered its vendor portfolio by signing up wireless mesh specialist Fluidmesh Networks.
Fluidmesh, whose European operations are headquartered in Milan, claimed that it is the only wireless mesh vendor to have designed products specifically for video-surveillance applications.
Martin Morris, security sales manager at Mayflex, which launched a dedicated security unit in January, said: “Fluidmesh’s products give us an excellent transmission medium for our installers of surveillance cameras where cabling is either impractical or too costly.”
Umberto Malesci, president of Fluidmesh, said: “Mayflex has recognised the increasing need for video surveillance in the UK and is the ideal partner to bring our product range to the UK market.”
