Samsung has unveiled former Nortel executive Paul Templeton as the new general manager of its Networks division.
Templeton, who takes the reins from Julian Barnes, has spent the last 20 years at Nortel - most recently based out of the US as the vendor’s global general manager for enterprise voice products.
Templeton will report into Samsung Electronics' UK managing director, MS Kim.

Samsung said Templeton brings a wealth of experience working with distribution and direct reseller channels in both the UK and Europe.
“Paul is tasked with driving significant growth of the network business and firmly establishing Samsung's position as a market leader. I am sure you will join with us in welcoming Paul to Samsung Networks,” the vendor stated.
