Avaya has ringed the changes in its channel management team once again, unveiling Lynda Colman as John Howard’s replacement.
Howard left to head up rival ShoreTel’s EMEA operations last month.
Replacing him in the post of UK value added reseller sales manager is Colman – who previously managed Avaya’s EMEA relationship with distributor Westcon.

Colman, who joined Avaya in 2001, will report to Lee Shorten, managing director UK and Ireland.
"Avaya is a company truly poised for growth, particularly via the channel,” said Shorten. “We have already demonstrated a strong commitment to the UK channel and with Lynda’s appointment, we continue to revitalise our channel value proposition for our growing partner base in the UK.”
The vendor declined to shed more light on Howard’s departure, stating that he “left Avaya for personal reasons”.
