Intrinsic set for Scottish expansion

Ambitious VAR Intrinsic Technology has appointed a new regional sales manager in Scotland to head up its expansion in the region.

John McGowan, who has worked in the enterprise communications industry for 15 years, joins the VAR from Cisco and has been tasked with driving growth in 2009.

McGowan’s remit includes working with key partners to expand Intrinsic’s presence and cross-sell other services into its existing customer base.

He said: “Intrinsic has had dramatic growth over the past few years which sees the company firmly ensconced on the Sunday Times Tech Track 100. It is widely acknowledged that Intrinsic is well positioned to maintain its significant growth and I wanted to be a part of that success.

“Through the expansion of the Scottish operation I will ensure further customers in the region will have the opportunity to experience the legendary Intrinsic service.”
